Transformice, More than Meet the Eye

transformice

Nothing interesting happening lately, should be updating more frequently... In other news, a little game called Transformice seems to have caught the eyes of bored Internet users everywhere.

In a nutshell, Transformice is a multiplayer Flash game where in each level the players try to get to the cheese and bring it back to their hole. Sometimes it's impossible to reach the cheese, fortunately, in each level a player or two (usually the top ranked ones from last level) are assigned to be the shamans, which can summon various tools to help their fellow mice.

Cross Days Delayed for the Nth Time

Cross Days, 0verflow's long-anticipated sequel to School Days and Summer Days, was set to come out on January 29th, 2010.

Unsurprisingly, at the last moment, 0verflow announced that the game will be delayed and the release date has been moved to March 19th, 2010. This came as no surprise, since this isn't the first time the game has been delayed, and most likely won't be the last time...

It's been almost a full year since the game was originally announced for 2/27/2009, between this time, the game's release date has been pushed back six times:

Mahoyo Delayed Till 2010 Thanks to PS3, Cross Days Delayed As Well

So Type-Moon Ace Vol.3 was released a while ago, and what's the big announcement? Mahou Tsukai no Yoru has been delayed until 2010!

The official reason goes something along the lines of "The delay was in part due to being over-optimistic about recreating a 13-year-old work, and in part because we can't suppress to our desire to pursue new stories." There was also words of the entire company working hard together to get the game done blah blah.

Hmm, okay, fair enough, guess TM pulled a Blizzard, will just have to look forward to both Mahoyo and Starcraft 2 in 2010.

Nice Boat! 0verflow Officially Announces Cross Days

Great news! 0verflow, the maker of School Days and Summer Days, has announced their next installment in the Days series, Cross Days. Although the game itself was announced many a days ago, real information and screenshots are finally available as of October 21st following the release of the latest issue of Tech Gian.

So, what is Cross Days all about? First, the game takes place in the same world as School Days, in fact, the story happens in parallel to School Days' plot. Of course, there will be many choices that the player can make, which will either lead to happy ending (most likely involving having "intimate relationship" with multiple heroines) or endings that involve blood and gore (NICE BOAT).
