New Type-Moon Projects!

With issues of the latest issue of Tech Gian and Type-Moon Ace "leaked", news of Type-Moon's upcoming projects are practically everywhere now:

Mahou Tsukai no Yoru - Not much news here, the game was announced by Type-Moon a couple of weeks ago. The story is based on one of Nasu's (TM co-founder) early unreleased novels. The story centers around the life of magician Aoko Aozaki and her sorcery teacher Alice Kuonji, who live together in a mansion. One day, a young boy called Souichirou Shizuki joins them, and things become interesting...

The "bad news" is the game will be "All Age", meaning there are no ero contents, of course, being a TM game, the story is what really matters. Another thing to note is that the art will be done by Hirokazu Koyama, making this one of the first TM game not drawn by Takeuchi.

Tsukihime Remake - Guh, so apparently no Tsukihime 2, instead there will be a remake/re-release of Tsukihime, the mega popular adult visual novel that made Type-Moon so popular today. Good news is the art will be completely re-done, and there might be a new Satsuki route...

Girl's Work - What's this? Years of nothing, then suddenly announcing not 1, not 2, but 3 games? The third game seems to be an experimental game from TM -- The main character of the game will be a city, that's right, a city! Following the trend, this game will also be a non-ero game. According to this blurb from Canned Dogs:

- The concept of this story is that the city itself is the main character
- The city where there story takes place is Shinjuku which has become like Paris

For more detailed information on all three games, check out this post from Akiba-Ch. I have to say, I was not all that surprised by the announcement of 3 new games, thanks to an "inside source"... although the Tsukihime remake was a bit unexpected (thought it was gonna be a new game). The fact that both new games aren't ero might turn off some fans, but the story should make up for it, I wonder if Girl's Work will take place in the TM universe?

There are more good news coming, though I can't really say much more now...though it will be a good news for the U.S. fans kekeke...

I'd like to write more about Type-Moon stuff...but until I post my upcoming mega-TM article, it will have to wait, for now enjoy some scans of the magazines stolen from Akiba Blog.
